RT: Spring's Wishful Wardrobe

This has been such a random Wednesday that this whole Random Thursday thing just kind of works! I have been off work today (Wednesday) due to attending the funeral of my Granfather-In-Law.  It's been random because i have never had a Saturday mid-week! 

So, needless to say, I am by no means in the mood to try on a bunch of cute outfits to show you what my favorite Spring Apparel is. Here's what I am thinking: kill two bird with one stone. I have needed to browse some of Old Navy's newest fashions.... headed there right now and gonna share my faves with you for sure! 

(Can i have this one in every print and color they have?) 

OK enough salivating over things i cannot really purchase, not at least while we are saving for a home of our own! Basically, here in the sunny state of CA and more specifically in Southern CA, short sleeves, mid-length sleeves, cropped pants, cute dresses, and bright colors round out my spring apparel. As of right now, none of these items are in my closet, but i wish they were! 

Hope that gives you a peek into what i would choose this spring!

Which Pair to Buy?

Toms are adorable but I must admit it took me a while to come around to liking them. I think what I like most is the different colors and fabrics! So that makes it truly tough to decide on a pair!

I know my size and I have tried on these, but held off because I didn't need shoes at the time.

So, I am thinking that at least one pair will be a vacation purchase! (I truly do need new shoes! It seems that at my school, with all the walking I do back and forth, on the track, thru the grass, or wherever, my shoes ALWAYS wear out so quickly!)

High Five Up Top 6.29.12

Its time for a High Five and Top Five events of this week!

We had dinner with my mom down at the beach at a lace called The Cottage! Hubs wasn't going to be able to make it and his appointment got postponed! Wahhooo! I love this spot. It's a restaurant in an old historic house and i love all the cute little touches! The iced tea wasn't bad either!

New bathing suit top- looks like this:

And i am wearing the top with black bottoms that are a similar cut to these bottoms above! 

(Turns out they are cutting the bottoms a little bit different and i would rather mix and match than just match than wear the bottoms you see above! There were less than flattering!)

So, I don't have any pictures of this, but i have been wearing dresses a lot lately! they are so comfortable! I just wish i could wear them to work too! Someday maybe? Here's one at Target that i have had my eye on:

My book club meets tonight and we are trying out a new restaurant! (Its even fun to eat out while on a diet! A new place means a different variation of a salad! (Sounds boring, but right now anything different just flat out rocks!)

A BBQ with our life group was fun and it was great to meet up in a differnet spot! Thanks to our co-leaders for hosting! It was a fun highlight in our week!
