Letters to Friday 2.8.12

Dear Friday - it took me until today to realize that this week went by so quickly! Do me a favor help me out a bit with next week... make it go quick! I'll even help you out a bit, I have Monday off! Can't wait to see you next week too! You are so much sweeter when we have back to back thee day weekends! 

Dear February - Thank God for your celebration of our former presidents! 

Dear Autism Authorization - I love that i can sit in my jammies and learn, but do you really need so many lessons? I have set a goal to finish you once and for all by June! I better get crackin', so be ready to spend some time with me! 

Dear Housing Market - Please be kind, I want a house NOW! 

Dear Chris Powell - Your book has changed our life. We are both down at least 5 lbs! Thanks for the Carb Cycle Plan! Love that i get to cheat, but also that the food has been great! 

Dear Hubs - I can't wait to go house shopping with you! And boy, can i not wait until we own our own house! I will be so stinking excited on the day we get keys! Way excited about that, but also excited for our date night! Oh and, that pic of us at your company Christmas party turned out great! 

PS. Cheat day is coming and losing weight with you has been fun! 

Dear Ira Glass - Um, I'm smitten and cannot wait ot see you on Saturday night. Thanks to a friend who knew of my love for your show, I get to come and see you live. Holy cow! I am a little excited, to say the least! 

Dear Followers, new and old - I am so blessed to have you around on my little blog! I cannot believe that this blog has hit over 200 followers! Wowie! Thanks for all the comments, thoughts, and following. I'm definitely glad to have every follower around, so really thanks to you ALL! 

Dear Lily - Even though you have grown so much and you are losing all your kitten-y looks, I still see that same cute kitten that we brought home in August! You were only six week old then and still, i get so excited to come home to you! It's even better when i can see you in the window waiting and watching all that goes on! 

Dear Bed - I wish i could be tucked in and warm under the covers by this time more than one time a week from now on! What's that you say? Oh you're calling my name... I will be there soon! 

Dear Natalie - Wondering if you will see my little shout out! Happy Birthday my friend! I am so blessed to work with you. It really means a lot to have the support that i receive from you and I am truly blessed to have you to work with! Thank you for all that you do to help our students. Thank you for being there to hear frustrations, successes, and just get feedback from. It's been awesome working with you this year!

A Little Letter Writing

I have a few letters to get off my chest! 

Dear Lily- I love how cute your kitty ways are! You play fetch and i love it most of the time. This week you made me and your Pops so proud! You did not freak out when you got clipped and even when you were bathed! What and awesome kitten you are! 

Dear Hubs- I love you! So glad you have had a pretty good work week! I am so proud of you and all of your accomplishments! Can't wait to spend a weekend with you! 

Dear Work- I hate you, you smell! I want vacay back! And no, Monday is not enough! 

**Side note - I don't hate my job, but who doesn't just adore vacation time? 

Dear Blog- I cannot wait til Monday! Winners will be announced plus there will be other fun stuff! January is a big month here on this blog! 

Dear Body- Yeah, I've been moving you so much, yet the scale says nothing has changed! I am tired and sore, so um, yeah, you could be a bit lighter! Might be time to lose again! 

Dear Followers- How i totally love you all! Welcome to my new followers and thanks for staying to my veterans! Hope you like this little piece of blog-land! 

Dear Penpal - I am so sorry it has taken so long for me to write you back! Will be writing soon! Oh and your new blog is adorable! (You know who you are!)

Friday is here! Wahoo!

Dear Friday, I'm glad you're here! The week has zipped by and I am hoping next week will be the same!

Dear Moving Boxes, please pack and in pack yourselves! Thanks!

Dear One Step Ministry, I am so glad we could hand off so much of what we no longer need! I really hope what we gave you will be used! Thank you for taking approx 5 large bags of our clothes, some old housewares, and various other items! It means a lot to us that we could unload that stuff an make sure it as going to a good place!

Dear Sweet Lily, how I love you! This week it as so nice to spend a night with just you and me! I know we missed the boy being home, but I also glad I had you to share the apartment with! It meant a bunch that you climbed up on my lap after a long hard day in our seemingly empty home! I also love that i had you to share the bed with! Thanks for keeping me company! 

 

Dear Hubby, I am so glad you are home! It was hard not having you to welcome me home, help with heavy lifting, encourage me, and just be there to keep me company! I missed you for sure and love having you home! Also, I pretty much can't believe that that was our first night apart in the last 2 years and 4 months of marriage! I love you! And so does Lily!

Dear Readers, I have so enjoyed the comment love lately, I am normally really great about repsponding once a week to all your thoughts, however, lately, packing boxes has taken priority. Your comments, kind words, questions and blogger love have not been ignored. My responses are merely on hold for now! 

Dear Students, I love you all, but stop being obnoxious! Be warned that Evie will be sharing with Santa how much grey hair you are creating for your teacher!

Friday Letters 11.16.12

Dear Friday - I am so glad you are back! Please tell the weekend not to go by too quickly. 

Dear 5K Mud Run - I am not excited about you. I have this silly cold that prevented me from working out/running the last week and a half. I didn't train before that either. Someday I will conquer a 5K by running the whole thing! Saturday will not be that day!

Dear Coworkers - thanks so much for helping my class out when we needed it! Thanks too for leaving little encouraging notes to help me through the week!

Dear Hubs - please get over this cold and start coming back to kickboxing! It's so much more fun when you are there with me! And I miss driving with you to and from!

Dear Nashville - thank goodness you got approved for a second season! I know you are a lot like a soap opera, but I love you! And I love that you put country music on TV! 

Dear Apartment- I wouldn't mind if you packed yourself! I know we aren't leaving you for several weeks, but I look around and wish you would just pack it all up without my help! I do know how much I will miss you though!

Dear Classroom - I am hoping I can leave you by 4 pm Friday. Maybe you could do all the copying and prep work for next week alone?

Dear Inlaws - Your new puppy is adorable! I cannot wait to meet him! One more reason that we will enjoy Thanksgiving!

Givin' it a Go!

I am often talking to inanimate things. Not usually out loud, but in my head i say little things. Lately, i talk a lot to the kitty cat. I love her so and think she truly understands what i am saying.maybe not, but oh well!  I also think about writing cryptic letters to my friends and family on this here blog. So i thought i would switch up my Friday post a bit and give Friday Letters a try. For those who don't know about this one ... its just a bunch of letters to say your piece and it happens to be a link up on Friday! Dear Hubs, I cant wit until we are out of an apartment and have a real home that we own! Thanks for starting that process for us. I know i need a kick in the pants when it comes to huge decisions like that. 

Dear Apartment, We love you, but our time here is limited. 

Dear Classroom, Please, please, please, do not get more crazy. Even though i know i get two more new kiddos on Monday, I pray you remain as crazy calm as it has been. Please?!?

Dear Life Group, You all are amazing! Past and present members show their love and care and concern all the time! I am so blessed to have you in my life. I am so grateful for you all! 

Dear Bed, I can not wait to meet you tonight. We do not spend enough time together! 

Dear Students, i pray for each and every one of you! Please learn this year! Where you are weak may you grow stronger! I love you all and I am blessed to be your teacher!
